Basic Research Press is the pet project of Dr. Joseph M. Brown. During the 50's & 60's Dr. Brown worked for McDonnell Douglas developing aircraft, missiles, & satellites. In the 70's he taught Mechanical Engineering at Mississippi State University. Soon after, he opened up a chain of textbook store throughout the State of Mississippi. During all of that, for the past 50 years, he has self published over 20 books based around the continued development of his own Kinetic Particle Theory of Physics.
My contributions to Basic Research Press involved typing, creating layouts, scientific illustrations & MathType for the books: Photons and the Elementary Particles, The Mechanical Theory of Everything, The Fundamental Particles of Physics, & The Unified Theory of Physics. My InDesign templates were even used on other books I didn't directly work on. I also worked directly with the printing company, packaging & sending of resources, approved proofs, & created advertisements for Magazines such as, Scientific America, Discover, & Nexus Magazine.
